"My stay was a work 1 for my husband and a mini vacation for me and my daughter. The was being remodeled which is nice. Being close to the beach was great. Will be coming back."

"They are remodeling, but if you can look past that, it's right on the beach. It's close to restaurants and nightlife, but not noisy at all. The rooms are very clean, a little stark, but I'll forego that for the price. I have to say, the best part for me was the bed!! So comfortable!!!"

"We stayed in room 101 and it was perfect! Clean and quiet. Tevin went above and beyond to help me with my accommodations. I thought it would be a chaotic mess during bike week, but it was the opposite. Thanks Tevin!"

"PROS
The price via Expedia was only $61 per night. We chose a King size/Ocean View room. Good size room, comfortable bed, clean, 60+” tv, full size fridge, microwave, dressers, closet, lots of hangers, easy chair, small table/2 chairs and small table/2 chairs on a shared balcony. We appreciated the housekeep staff trying their best. The pool area was simple but adequate. Clean, plenty of chairs/lounge chairs, small corn hole game, one table with an umbrella. Easy access to the wonderful beach. Mostly families stayed there. It was quiet the 2 nights we were there. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended The Beach Bucket (deck/ocean view) for lunch/dinner and Peach Valley Café for breakfast. Salty Church has weekly sunrise church services – we attended the Easter service and enjoyed that. If you needed time before or after, check in/check out – Andy Romano Beach Park is a lovely place to wait/plenty of tables, benches, splash pad, rest rooms, pavilions, parking, beach access.
CONS
Most of the rooms immediately face a parking lot so ocean view means side ocean view. The parking lot is small and not super nice. There is no coffee maker in the room but in the lobby. While the bathroom in the room was clean it was so old it didn’t feel clean. We never saw cockroaches but brought Raid because of some of the reviews. The majority of the area around the hotel is old, in need of cleaning, painting, something. It’s pretty disgusting. The balcony sits over the parking lot, so we never sat out there. Shared balcony means people walk by your room all day; awkward.
CONCLUSION
If you are on a tight budget, want a beach vacation and were not too picky, a $61 a night for a hotel on the beach is a good value. We are a senior couple, living in Central Florida, on a budget and for us it was an enjoyable 2 night get away (beach/pool area/local restaurants). That being said because of the nastiness of the hotel, we would never stay at Chateau Mar Beach Resort again. This motel has potential, but it really needs to be painted/cleaned up and the shared balcony/over the parking lot is off putting."

"Perfect stay on the beach. Friendly staff and close to anything you want or need.
It’s a bit dated but we were pleased with our stay and plan to return."
